During their shareholders meeting, Electronic Arts projected a 2015 release for Star Wars: Battlefront on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Coming from EA CEO Blake Jorgensen, SW: Battlefront will “most likely” be released during the summer of 2015. This time frame coincides with the release of the new Star Wars film. The game is being developed by DICE, the Swedish developer known for the Battlefield series and Mirrors Edge.
